Som Os

The wide spanning folk-quintet Som Os beautifully showcases the range of folk music and the way it branches out into the genre horizon. You will be guided from rock/funk, through jazz, on towards the many different folk music traditions, that each of the musicians reflect through their own varied backgrounds. 

The band has already established their reputation with shows at some of the country’s largest folk festivals including Tønder Festival, Copenhagen Jazz Festival, and Musik over Præstø Fjord – and now they are ready to perform their debut album, which was released in the fall of 2023.
The music tells the stories of places, situations and moments the band has experienced together, and which has shaped each of them in turn. You will be invited to join in these stories, when the band demonstrates exactly what folk music is capable of.
